For as long as I can remember, I have played some sport weather it was hockey swimming or cross country, its always been there. Majority of my time has been spent working to get better at these sports and when I'm not practicing I'm indulged in other extracurricular activities such as The Boy Scouts of America, I am currently a life scout and finishing the last bit of my Eagle Award. Eagle is the highest rank you can achieve while in scouting. Additionally, I am the leader of a program called NYLT or national youth leadership training. Both of these programs require a huge dedication and a great work-ethic, which I believe I have. My dedication and devotion to myself and activities are through the roof. I believe that I'm a great candidate for the running program outside of my high school career due to my dedication to the aforementioned programs.
A little more about me, I am partially deaf; as my left ear does not function as well as my right, but that doesn't stop me from doing the things I love and in this case it's running. Majority of my life i have had to be cautious of my head due to my hearing but with running I can let go due to the lack of head trauma in the sport. I enjoy running and would love to be a part of a team in collage.
