Hi my name is Trenton Brown but everybody calls me Trent. I'm a Varsity sprinter for Monterey High School in Lubbock, TX. I've also run for the Lubbock Olympians several summers.
I really didn't know that I'd come to love and depend on running as much as I do until my junior season when our relay team began to have some success. Now, I feel like running the 100MR & 200MR is my calling, where I fit in. So I'm now putting my energy into my grades and getting physically stronger and faster I'm just excited for the coming year and what the new season can possibly hold for me.
My parents show me everyday in how they work and how they live that hard work and commitment are essential to my success. My mother went back to college after having a family and I saw firsthand, how hard it was for her but she finished with graduate degree. My father has worked for Southwest Airlines for over 20 years. I'm proud of them and I strive to make them proud of me.
In college, I'd like to study pharmacology. I hope to either do research and find cures for diseases in our society or to help facilitate drug trials for new medications. Ultimately, my goal is to make a difference in others' lives by being my best. At the same time, I like to see other people succeed because that inspires me to see more in myself. Wherever life takes me professionally, I know that I want to serve others.
