I've been running track, since I was in the fourth grade. I started off a mile runner and I broke all my middle school records and I ran AAU, USATF track and qualified for the Junior Olympics a few times in the 400, 800, and 1500. I have a 5th place medal from the 2009 JR. Olympics.
In high school, I switched to the 400m dash and I ran for JR. Tucker, I ran a 51 as a Freshman, but had a short season. I transferred to Glen Allen my soph0more year and I ran a 1:07 in the 500 dash I qualified for Districts and Regionals and I was the District Runner Up. During Outdoor track I ran a 50.17 in the 400, placing 3rd at regionals and I advanced to states. That year I was a 2xMVP and I broke all of my schools records in the 300, 500, 400, and 200. Also, I led my team to win the 4x400m District title.
I wasn't able to run my junior year, but I ran a few times over the summer and my 4x800 team placed 3rd at the USATF Club Championship and I also PR'd in the 400 with a 50.04. I'm working with a trainer now and I'm really getting back to it now and I have a good chance at winning states in the 400 and 500 this year. I plan on running track in college and moving up into the ranks, by the end of my college career I plan on making qualification for the Olympic Trials.
--I'd love to talk with coaches about why I don't have any times for my junior year.
