Throughout my entire high school career I have strived to be the best possible version of me I can, both academically and athletically. It has not been simple or easy: Academically I set out to be on top-and I succeeded: I will graduate with a 4.0 gpa and as class Valedictorian. I have had struggles and unfortunate events in my running career which have sidelined me from running. However, I have always focused and pushed through to continue my dream of running. For example, in August 2021, I crashed my bike and dislocated my hip which sidelined me for my entire Senior Cross Country season. This was a devastating blow. But I worked very hard throughout the winter months and came back for track stronger than ever. I feel like my drive to succeed is second to none and is one of the main things which separates me from the other runners, since I will rise to the occasion no matter the circumstances. My goals for my collegiate career are to find a career that I enjoy, be academically challenged and run for a team which can provide a great environment for me to grow and mature in my running career while being a positive/hard working member of the team.
