Personal Statement

My dream is to play basketball at the college level while I pursue my educational goals. I love to compete and would love to continue to compete in my college career.

I am a three sport varsity athlete, and basketball is my favorite sport.  I am a team player who loves assists or steals as much as being a scorer...whatever it takes to win.   Skills that define me are my quickness, athleticism, and ability to score at all three levels.  My coaches have always told me that I have a high basketball IQ, that I make my teammates better,  and am always willing to grow and improve.  I understand the game, study film often, and have learned to make adjustments based on that feedback.

As a sophomore at KML, I broke the single game scoring record (43 points), most 3's in a season (59), single season scoring record (544) and was one steal away from the season steal record (123). I was also named unanimous 1st team all conference for the East Central Conference (ECC) and led the conference in scoring average (20.9) and honorable mention all state.

Academics are also very important to me as I have a 4.0 and care about my future beyond basketball.  Please reach out so that we can talk about how I can have a positive impact as a part of your program.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
