Devin More '24 Recruiting Profile

From being a former student at a martial for 8 years. I encountered a roadblock in my active life and once covid hit, I was stuck. But through my martial arts life, I met many different people ranging from stay-at-home parents to doctors. It didn't stop there I also taught various students myself. As soon as I met a volleyball coach at a club near me I was hooked on the idea of playing volleyball. I was offered to play at open gyms and training camps. From the skills I learned from my martial arts, I quickly picked up Volleyball. After participating in these open gyms I was offered to try out and was picked up to play on the first-ever boy's season in SfElite on the 15s team coached by Coach Leo and Assisted by Coach Jason. 

With this team, I attended Nationals in Vegas as an Outside hitter. While at nationals, I made connections with teams from around the world. Not only did I see other teams play at a higher level, I saw what I needed to compete at that level, which only made my love for Volleyball grow. When met with competition I am filled with adrenaline, knowing I possess a slightly high jump, and seeing a jump competition by NCSA I was jumping with excitement. Coming out with a 32" vertical jump and just starting volleyball had me hooked on playing Volleyball.
