Hello, my name is Luis Torres. I was born in Newark, NJ. I'm 17 years old, I live in Harrison. I come from a humble Ecuadorian family, I tend to use their lives to pursue my dreams. I come from a very humble family and they couldn't pursue their dreams, but I have the chance to pursue mine. I want to pursue my dreams of becoming going into the medical field and becoming a physician once I graduate. I feel that this goal could be accomplished with the hard work I'm willing to bring to the team. I'm not only going to play volleyball, but I'm going to play the sport to show what my inner potential has to show everyone out there. I tend to bring the energy of always being positive in every event that the team does. Never showing that something is lost, always demonstrating leadership and character towards every situation that the team and I have to go through in daily life. I see myself as a person who loves to be very optimistic in every situation as I see that if you let the negative energy come to you, it will come to you. But if you fight for what you always want or desire, you will obtain and that's the ideology that I'm planning to bring to the team. My love for volleyball isn't only about the sport, it's more than just a sport, it's a form of showing your passion, dedication, and efforts to every goal you have in life.
