Emmanuel Jimenez-Garcia '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Emmanuel Jiménez Garcia, but everyone calls me Manny. They've said it is easier to say and more flowing in a way, and I really couldn't say they are wrong. I've been playing volleyball, the sport I love, for about 8 years now. I've moved from different states, practicing at different clubs, until I finally moved and stayed in Texas. There weren't many options for volleyball here, so finding one was the best feeling. I am taking all the clinics and camps that I can possibly take. I was almost left with no free time because I just enjoyed playing so much. I've always had the drive and grit to play, always having high energy whether I'm on the court or off. I also put that same energy in the classroom, leaving an impact on the court and in class.
