Personal Statement
My name is Carson Voth, I live in San Diego California. I am a starting member and captain of the Valhalla High School waterpolo team. I have been playing for the past 7 years of my life and hope to carry those years into my college experience. I take pride on being able to listen and see something on paper and carry it out in the pool. As a young player my coach, Kent Houston, saw potential in my waterpolo skills and brought me to play with his high school club team over the summer and then invited me to play in the 18u Junior Olympics as a freshman. Over the past few years of my highschool seasons I have achieved the MVP of my novice team in 2017, MVP of my junior varsity team in 2018, and Offensive player of the year on Varsity in 2019. This school year I have kept myself to keeping above B average with a current GPA of 3.4. I aspire to be the great waterpolo players that my family members, Dan Matulis and Mike Nalu have been.
