Mace Wheeler '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Mace Wheeler, a catcher born and raised in San Diego, California and have been playing baseball since age of 5. I love the outdoors like fishing, hunting and hiking. I have played travel ball since I was eight years old and was able to make it to the Pony world series in 2019. Recently I have received awards in my first year of high school which was All League and Rookie of the Year in my conference. I call my own games behind the plate for the pitchers. I always try to be one step ahead of the game and looking forward to seeing what and where I want the ball to do or go depending on the situation. With that said, I am trying to follow in my dad's footsteps of going to play college ball after high school. Recently in the past 2023 varsity High school season I have batted .431.
