Jack Alvarado '25 Recruiting Profile

I started playing water polo the summer before my freshman year of high school. Coming from a swimming background I picked it up pretty fast, and before I knew it I was in love with this game. From that moment moving forward I haven't missed a day of practice for the past two years. Not only have I worked hard for the skillset that I have, I hold myself accountable everyday for putting in more and more work in and outside of the pool. Academically I try my best to pursue learning and to be attentive in class. I think that water polo has given me a sense of discipline that I've been able to apply to my school life and even beyond that. I started water polo much later than many others and my biggest hope for college is that I can find a school that will help me grow academically, and pursue my passion of water polo.
