Britney Kidd #2, ...Personal Statement
My goal and ambition since I started playing softball has been to play at the college level. I have overcome many obstacles in playing softball and they have all made me stronger. I started playing at 4 years old and I've always had a love for the game.
I feel I would be a good candidate for a college softball team because I am a team leader and always encourage my teammates. I have a strong work ethic and I strive to be the best I can be at everything I do. My speed has always been one of my biggest athletic gifts. I have always played multiple sports but I feel I excel more in softball and I have a stronger passion for it. I am very devoted to the game and I work hard to keep my body in shape, maintain good grades, and maintain a positive attitude on and off the field. In the off season I use cross fit to stay in shape and hitting and fielding to keep my skills sharp. In school I am involved with clubs such as LEO club, ASTRA, and Key Club. I am also in AP classes and enjoy helping others and the community.
My life goal is to become a Physical Therapist or Ophthalmology. I know I will be able to help other athletes with the physical and mental toll that injuries have on athletes.
My family supports me 100%! They encourage me to be my very best and to reach my goals.
