Alyssa Peart '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alyssa Peart and I am a high level softball player.  I am a right handed pitcher and also play 3rd base.  I am  very versatile and can play other positions when necessary.  I have been playing softball since I was 6 years old, I have been a part of a city championship team, and currently play on a competitive travel softball team.

The characteristics I feel are necessary in becoming an elite athlete are being very coachable, having the ability to take a  leadership role on a team, and having passion for your sport.  You must also have respect for the game, your peers, your competitors, officials, coaches, and yourself.  I have all these traits.

My goal is to play Fastpitch at the college level and continue playing after college for as long as possible.  I would like to pursue a career that would focus on developing renewable energy sources.  The classes I would like to take would be focused on biochemistry, chemical engineering, bioinformatics, and forensic science.  I do very well in both math and science. I also enjoy theater and drama classes.

My hobbies are photography and painting.  The other sports I participate in are Ringette,  Wrestling, and Golf. 

I believe my passion for softball, my ability to gel with teammates, my strong desire to contribute to a successful collegiate softball program along with my determination to earn a successful career, make me a strong candidate to be considered for your collegiate softball program.
