After graduating form high school, I plan on joining the ARMY or if not, go off to a college and university and play softball while getting my education. Being an athlete I know that two of the major qualities in a player is 1.) Being in the best possible shape that you could be in. This meaning being active (exercising)  and being healthy (eating right, no drugs or alcohol). 2.) Loving the game. Meaning that every time you're on the field you must give it a 110% by pouring your soul, sweat and tears into everything you do.
Sure you can be the best athlete that there is on this planet, but what's the point if you don't get to play? Academics plays a huge role in my career. It has to be the same 110% that I put on the field. 
That's not all. Being the best person that you can be on AND off the field is a great quality also. I would say that I'm a good candidate for your team because I'm not on the bench when my teammates are up at bat. Whether I be alone or with the whole school, know that I will be up on that fence cheering on my teammates every second of the game. Making us come closer and supporting each other which really makes a team even better.
Being a team on the field is great but if your a team off the field, that's even greater. I try to be involved in each one of my teammates lives off the  field because you never know what happens when they go home after practice. When you become part of a team, you become a part of a family. It's important to be there for one another when maybe no one else is.
And what's a team without a community? Being from a small town, there isn't much that goes on. But when there is I don't mind at all helping. I mean the community is the one who comes and supports us by watching our games and tournaments, helping us fundraise for tournaments and trips and some of them even donate what ever they can to help. I love being a apart of a small town community because my love for the game grows more and more each time.
