Hello, my name is Madison Brown. I am 17-years-old and a Junior that attended Bradshaw Mountain High School located in Prescott Valley, AZ (Class of 2023). I have always loved and had the passion of playing softball ever since the age of six (and joining collective/organized teams.) Playing softball in college has, without fail, been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. I'm very confident in not only my abilities and skills, but also in my academics to go beyond the expectations at the intercollegiate level.
Currently, I start for the Arizona Snakes Gold 18U softball organization. To include, I also started on the Varsity baseball team at my school during my sophomore year. There are multiple positions I can play at such as second base, shortstop, and all of outfield. I can hit for power and get on bases consistently. I bat and throw right-handed with a strong and accurate arm. I'm smart around the bases and enjoy sliding/diving when given the opportunity to do so.
For college, my educational interest would be Business. My grades are outstanding (4.0 weighted) and have taken many Honors classes. I have also joined the student council organization every year at my school, with becoming president (freshmen and junior year), and secretary (sophomore year). I come from a family where school comes first, as well as your athletics coming next. They greatly value and respect the importance of a college education. With that being said, I believe given my background, desires, and training, I exemplify the profile of what a college coach is looking for in a student athlete.
