My name is Melina Nazario and my goal is playing collegiate softball. My favorite thing about softball is all the hard work that it takes to reach your goal. My goals are to get faster, hit the ball harder and improve on my defense. I workout and practice daily, as I am determined to accomplish my goals. I work hard in all aspects of my life in the classroom and also on the softball field to be successful and the best that I can be.
Some of my hobbies aside from softball include weightlifting, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. I would love to pursue a career in education and be a coach to help motivate other athletes in the future.
My personal strengths are hardworking, caring, and a never give up attitude. On the field my teammates would say that I am a selfless team player always working hard on the field and supporting my teammates. One of my strongest traits would be coachability, since I am always striving to improve my game. Thank you for taking the time to read my personal statement.
