“LET’S FIGHT!!!” Those are the words used by one of my favorite anime characters, Natsu Dragneel when engaging with a problem. He doesn’t let problems consume him nor does he back down when challenged. This too is my mindset when on the softball field!
My name is Karli Cunnigan and I am a 2025 Student-Athlete attending SEEO and the EM Sports Academy in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. I play middle infield and outfield but consider myself a utility player. Currently I play for the 16U Corona Angels-Rodgers/Edwards team.
I have been playing softball since I was 9 years old andhave a passion for base running and defense. Slapping for power is my preference but I will do what is necessary to advance the run. As a teammate I support, guide and cheer for my peers. I am a coachable player who doesn’t shy away from a challenge and am always willing to be taught something new.
Pride in my academics with strong study skills is how I maintain a 3.9GPA. I’m very close with my supportive family and enjoy travelling, reading and anime when not around the game I love. Playing softball at the college level is my goal and I will continue to put in the work, time, and sacrifice to get there. So, the fight continues…
