I am very passionate about softball, though I also value my academics and education. I consider myself a team-player and someone who helps others whenever I can. At practice, I am always the first one to hustle on and off the field and make the most out of my time on the dirt. I am very involved in student government at my school, and I pride myself on being an overachiever. I also love to sing and act. Similarly to softball, not only can you showcase individual talent this way, but you can also support your teammates and work as a group to execute a common goal. Something I love about softball, apart from the game itself, is the sense of freedom you get from pitching, throwing, or hitting that perfect ball because you get to prove yourself a little bit more every day and expand your expectations. You see that your hard work pays off and you motivate yourself to work even harder for your team and yourself, because as much as you've shown yourself that you can do much more than you thought you could, you find out that you still have a lot further you can go.
