First of all, Thank you for showing an interest in me. if you got this far, that means you've viewed the videos and you wanted to know more about me.
My name is Cassandra Finley and I play softball. I love everything about softball, including traveling, building relationships, working hard, competition and having fun.
I play middle infield and outfield (preferably centerfield) at the varsity level, with the Everette Alvarez High School Eagles. We won the Monterey Bay League-Pacific Division this year AND I got Second Team All League. : )
I play travel softball with Aldrete 18u softball. Rich Aldrete has a baseball/softball clinic that teaches, fitness, fielding, hitting and specialty positions like catching and pitching. Rich is a great Coach, he understands the game and is considerate of his players. One example is that he rotates the players in and around the field, so everyone gets to play their primary positions. Some times, I play my primary position, which is second base, then I might rotate to short, third or even the outfield. That way we all get to maintain our skills in our primary positions. We all get along great, which brings the team together and we are able to perform at our best.
I am in my high schools “Puente” Program which is a college prep program for students who want to ensure they are able to “Take it to the next level.” I am also a "Link Crew" Leader. Link Crew Leaders assist freshman throughout their freshman year, while they are adjusting to high school. This is going to be a challenging year for me, as I will be taking three AP classes and playing softball.
Right now I thinking about a career in Nuclear and Radiological Technologies or Forensics. But that could change. I am still trying to figure things out.
I love playing middle infield, but I am willing to play any position to help out the team. That is how much I love the game. Don't forget to "follow me."
