Ever since age 4 when I started playing ball, I began to dream of playing in college and even beyond. I love to pitch because I am involved in every play and I enjoy my pitching lessons while working on my own to improve. As a pitcher I work well under pressure and give 100% on every pitch. I love to cheer on my teammates, and I trust my defense when I pitch to back me up. I pride myself on hitting my spots and my strikeout percentage. In three years of High School I have pitched 459 innings, striking out 37.1% while only walking 2.7% of the batters I face. We have won CCS Championships all three years and a NorCal Championship in 2024. I was the winning pitcher for all CCS playoff and championship games all three years and all NorCal Championship games this past year.
I also love to hit, and I feel I have an advantage as a pitcher at the plate with pitch selection and understanding what the pitcher is trying to do in various situations. I hit for power and battle every at-bat. When I am not pitching I also play first base or outfield.
My grades are equally important to me and I currently have a 4.25 GPA. I feel I apply above average softball IQ on the field.
I love learning new things and I enjoy being coached. I appreciate you considering me a recruit and tracking my progress. I look forward to learning more about your softball program and school.

- Everett Alvarez lost in the quarterfinals 3-1 to Central (Fresno). I pitched the entire game.

- Everett Alvarez won the tournament defeating Sequoia Ravens 5-4 in quarterfinals, Westmont Warriors in semifinals 2-0, and Notre Dame (Belmont) Tigers 3-0 in the championship. I came in relief to pitch the last six innings of the quarterfinal and only gave up one run, and I pitched the entire semifinal and final games. I had 11 strikeouts in each of the quarterfinal and semifinal games and 16 strikeouts in the championship game. I gave up zero walks in all three games.

- I was asked to play up with the 16U Cal A's Heen/MonteonCarter team. We went 5-0 and I pitched two full games (and two more in relief). Total of 13 innings pitched with 21 strikeouts and only three runs. I also played first base and hit 3 for 9 with an on base percent of 50% for the tournament.
