Isabella Backer '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a leader. 

I like to talk, a lot, very loudly and fairly fast for that matter so I stand out in a crowd. Confidence is my middle name, I like to do the one thing no one else will. I push myself, hard. I strive to constantly be better, up the ante, win it all; never giving up. The game isn't over till it's over and anything can happen.  As I've grown older, I've seen that more and more; all of it just depends on how hard you push yourself to go. It's what sets apart those who are content at being average and those who are never content. Always hungry for more and that is, me in a nutshell. 

I love being taught new things and mastering them. The sense of accomplishment is a huge driver for me. I also want to teach, so I hope to do the same by passing my knowledge down to newer generations. On and off the field I love to hype others up. Making someone smile honestly brightens my whole entire day. 

I want to play in college for the lasting friendships made on the field as well as the chance to represent a group of amazing girls as well as myself. I love the sport, and if you love what you do in life they say, then your life is complete.
