Personal Statement

My name is Kassidy James and I am a sophomore at Woodside High School in Woodside, CA. I will graduate in 2020. My favorite positions are middle infield, but I have been pitching since I was 8 years old and I can play the outfield. I am a switch hitter. I can slap or swing for power from the left. But my biggest power is from the right side. The game situation will determine which side of the plate I will hit from.

I have been playing competitively since I was 8 years old and I would like to play collegiate ball. My study of choice in college will be some form of medical science. I love animals very much and want to spend my time caring for them in some capacity. I maintain an average gpa of 3.8. I will start to take my SAT's and ACT's this summer. I have been an honor roll student for the last three semesters.

ActivitiesI am in the Green Academy at my high school. It is an environmental based program that my high school offers. It's like a school within a school. Everything we do is based on the environment: conservation, water treatment, preservation, farm to table. It teaches us that everything we do has an impact on the environment.
