Personal Statement

Hi there! My name is Kaylee Korbelik and I am a senior who goes to Burlington High School here in Colorado! I am a very outgoing, fun individual who loves the game of softball. I have been playing since I was in t-ball, which was when I was about 6 years old I would imagine. I have good leadership skills, and have taught a lot of the younger girls things I know they will never forget. I am always there to pick people up when they are having an off day and tell them that the next play, or the next hit will be better! I am a t-ball and coach pitch softball coach during the summer and have worked with those little girls to help them learn the game better. Throughout the years, I have always known that I wanted to play college ball. But, my sophomore year, I really stepped it up and figured out that I had the skills to play in college. I made First Team All-State my sophomore year. I was in the Rise Magazine my sophomore year for "Colorado Softball Recognition." I think they recognized 5 different softball girls to look for in Colorado, and I ended up being one of them! I would honestly play for any college as long as it had a good business/marketing and/or graphic/interior design field. I don't mind going to a big or small school, I know I will be able to get along no matter what it's like! I am definitely a people person, so I love the team atmosphere!
