Dakota Sarcone '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Dakota Sarcone. I am a 5'5" Utility player from Greenwich, CT in the graduating class of 2015. Outfield is my primary position, however, I have lots of experience playing catcher, as well as infield positions such as third and second base. I am a consistent hitter, as well as having the ability to bunt left and right and slap hit. I have started on the Greenwich High School varsity team for 1 year now, however I was brought up to varsity freshman year to catch and run multiple times. I have 7 years of travel ball experience with many different teams. The most recent travel team I competed with was Tradition South 16u this past summer.  I run a 2.8 20 yd dash, and have a pop time of 1.9. Additionally, I have a 3.8 GPA.

I am looking for an institution where I can find a balance between academics and athletics. I would like to attend a university with excellent academics in creative writing, music, or environmental studies. My ideal athletic environment would be one where I can make an impact and contribute while being part of a team.
