Coach es
My name is Samantha Sylvester, I attend Wamogo Regional High School in Litchfield, Connecticut where I will be graduating in 2020. I am starting my junior year and am very interested in pitching at the next level.
I have always been a very strong student, ranked fourth in my class, and very interested in the health the fields. This summer I had the opportunity to shadow my uncle and aunt who are both physical therapists and I believe I have found my future. I have always loved the sciences, biology and anatomy, and know how important they are in a physical therapy/physician assistants program. Also, as a softball player and all-around athlete it will allow me to continue on with one of my greatest passions, working with athletes.
Since I was 3, my dad, a high school softball coach, would take me to his practices and I became obsessed with the sport, especially pitching. When I was 6 years old I started with a pitching coach and by 8 years old I was playing travel ball. I never looked back. Softball and pitching has been a year round commitment that I wish to continue at the college level. I have been very fortunate as a high school softball player to have reached the CT state semi-finals my freshman and sophomore years. I was also named All-State pitcher for the 2018 season.
I would really like the opportunity to play softball and be part of the Physical therapy/Physcian Assistant’s program at at a college or university.
Please let me know if you are interested or would like any other academic or softball information.
Thank You,
Samantha Sylvester
