Personal Statement
I am a 5'11" left handed pitcher, 1st baseman and hitter from Macon, Georgia. I am a junior in high school and have started for the varsity team at my school for the past 3 years. Our school has a very competitive team. I enjoy this competition because it makes everyone improve their game. I work hard to keep my spot on the team and play whatever they need me to play. The result has been both 3rd and 2nd place in the state championship the past 2 years. This kind of success brings the team closer and we play even better together.
Working hard for what I get has helped build my character and made me a better person. Setting goals and achieving them is very rewarding. I believe I will succeed best if I am a student athlete. I believe I do well juggling the pressure of school, softball and life at the same time. I am looking for a strong liberal arts program. I am opened minded about all schools that can provide me with a good academic career as well as an athletic one.
