Hailey Daughtry '22 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play softball at a highly competitive school, regardless of the level.  I'm open to everything from JUCO, NAIA, up to D1.  I hope to play for a coach that challenges the team on and off the field but who also makes the team feel like a family.   I look up to my brother who played baseball at Florida State and he taught me to work hard, always be a good teammate, and focus on the process.  I believe that if I do those things, I can make a difference on any roster.  I  have been a starter since my Freshman year and I've made the All Region team every year.  This season I was honored to make the All Region 1st Team and All State Honorable Mention.  

My drop ball is my best pitch and I am a pitch-to-contact pitcher who gets a lot of outs from ground balls.   I've learned that with solid defense behind me, I am capable of getting in the circle and pitching with confidence to lead our team to victory.   I led our high school team with 5 homeruns this season and I batted .382.   I want to play for a school where I not only pitch, but where I have the opportunity to earn a spot in the lineup.

In college, I will strive to be the best student, athlete and teammate that I can be.  It's what I've dreamed of since I was a little girl.
