This is Justin Walton out of Tattnall Square Academy Macon, Ga. I am a 6’1 165 Guard who plays both Point and Shooting Guard. I look to set up my teammates and put them in the best place to score. I am an extremely solid passer who sees the floor very well. I can also catch and shoot at any level of play: 3, midrange, finish at the rim. I am a hard working, competitive, and passionate player who loves the game of basketball. With that being said I am my own worst critic so I constantly strive to be the best I can be on and off the court. For example, the past two months I have dedicated myself to the weight room, and I have put 10 pounds on in those two months.
My father played collegiately at Rice University in Houston, Texas. He also has 10+ years of coaching experience, coaching at South Carolina State, Wesleyan college, First Presbyterian Day school in Macon, Ga, now community coaching at Tattnall Square. As a young kid, I was exposed the right way to prepare for games and practices. I was taught the right way to play basketball.
My last 3 years at Tattnall I have played both football and basketball for the Trojans. With senior year approaching I will only be playing basketball. It has been my dream to play at the collegiate level ever since I was five years old and I want to give it all I can to make that dream come true.
Outside of basketball, I enjoy impacting the lives of others. I hope to one day get back in my community to help less fortunate kids become successful and help build the community into a better and safer place. I am a strong believer in love and hope to share mine with them and everyone around. Also have a strong compassion for family may that be immediate or my brothers on the court I will always put them in the best positions that they can possibly be in.
