Taryn Martin '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a class of 2023 recruit that has a dream and a goal to play college softball. I love everything about the game . I workout hard and I do it with a smile on my face. I love to be positive and happy. There is nothing that I can’t do as long as I stay positive and believe in myself.   I am an aggressive high average hitter. I have decent speed. I am not the fastest on the team, but I’m near the top. My pop time since I started throwing from my knees average around 1.9- 2.1 My fastest lately was a 1.78. At travel ball and high school level I play outfield anytime I’m not catching. I love the challenge and I’m not afraid to get dirty when I need to. I really hope to continue my softball career at the college level and I am undecided on what I would like to major in but I’m leaning toward something in health services.
