When I was younger, I always wanted to be a pop star, but then I came across this sport. When my dad taught me first how to throw, I fell in love with playing the sport. For some people, this may just be a ball and a bat, but for me, it's way more. It's like an escape from real life and an extended family. I have learned many things throughout these years and not just how to play the sport. Softball has taught me how to talk and speak to people confidently and how to control my emotions. I have had to overcome many mental blocks and lack of confidence through the years but that is what has made me stronger as a player and academically. In both school and softball, I strive to be the best I can be and work for all A's each year. I believe that I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but I have the work-ethic and leadership skills to make an impact on your program.
