I want to go to a college that loves me being there. I do not want to be just another name on a roster! I want the coaches to know my family. I do not care about being close to home as much. But I do come from a very close family so I would love to feel like my college family is an extension of that a little bit. I work hard. I work hard every single day to try and become the best athlete I can. I study hard. I want to make sure my grades are an assistance not a burden.
What makes me different? I've been yelled at. I've been ignored. I've "taken it to serious". I've led teams. I've sat the bench. I've earned playing time. I've cheered when I felt like I deserved that spot or that playing time. I've cried, alone, when it was given to someone else after I felt like I earned it. I do what I am asked because I can. I can be the loud leader a team needs. Or I can be the silent supporter a teammate needs. I can push my teammates to get better. Or I can pick my team up when we're not.
