Personal Statement
Playing softball is a dream come true for me and because of that, I play from the heart. I am a 5’5 seasoned utility player with experience related to pitching, short stop, 2nd base, 3rd base and the outfield. Confident, powerful hitter with a sharp eye and a smooth swing. Softball has a unique way of teaching me life lessons and I’m grateful to learn something new each time I step onto the field. Communication and teamwork is the key to everything you do – on and off the field. The most important lesson softball has provided me is the power of resiliency. I’ve learned that when life knocks me down, it’s important to get back up and to come back stronger than ever. Giving up isn’t an option. I focus my energy to learn from the mistakes and find ways to move on. Off the field, I channel all of my energy into my academics. I give 100% to my assignments and always have the goal in mind to be a successful student. I want to be the best role model to those around me and to continue to find new ways to develop myself and my team.
