Personal Statement

I am a 5'4" pitcher/outfielder from Dorchester, IL.  I have started on Gillespie High School varsity softball team for 3 years and earned 3rd team All-Conference in 2016 and 2017.  I have played travel ball for 8 years also.  I am a hard-worker and a team player.  I am a driven, competitive player who loves the game of softball.  I am looking for a school with a great learning environment where I can also be part of a great team.  I believe my best fit would be a DIII or NAIA level, although I would consider any opportunities put before me.  I am considering Sports Medicine/Athletic Training as my desired major.  I would really like to be able to play for my team as a freshman.
