March 2016Personal Statement
I have played softball for as long as I can remember and love every part of the game. I have played every position in the game, but have focused in on playing first base as I have matured. My skills at bat are extremely good, and I feel like my willingness to adapt and play where the team needs me most makes me an asset.
I have strong academic skills and am in the top 10 of my class. I've learned to balance academics with playing softball, basketball, travel softball, and multiple clubs and organizations. I am interested in finding an institution where I can pursue a degree in nursing and still be able to play softball.
I work well with others. I'm a quick learner and willing to work hard to achieve my goals and the goals of my team.

- It was a really neat experience, I got to work with former college players Jen Schroeder (Ucla), Katie Schmitt (Ucla) , Morgan Stuart (University of Washington) , and Amanda Scarborough (Texas A&M). I learned new hitting drills and had a great time.
