Amanda Poniecki '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Amanda Poniecki. I am a 2026 middle infielder from Hoffman Estates, IL and currently attend William Fremd High School.    
Softball has been apart of my life for many years and I fell in love with the teamwork, and work ethic needed to preform at my highest potential. Along with softball, I equally dedicate my focus to my acedemics, with a 3.43 UW GPA and a 3.75 W. I am looking for an opportunity to compete at the highest level  I can. As a player, I possess great work ethic, work well as a team player as well as having high energy at all times. In college, I plan on majoring in architectural design and / or business. Other hobbies that I enjoy are flag football for my highschool, which dispite being our school‘s first year hosting a team, we as a team won in the state championship, securing the title of being the first IHSA flag football state champion in the state of Illinois! Along with flag football, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, and helping out with my highschool softball program‘s little camp, which is provided for young girls ages 5-12 to help teach them the game that I love.
