Anna Poss '23 Recruiting Profile

As a player on an elite travel team, I have taken a leadership role in motivating my teammates to compete at their highest level. I would consider myself a gritty leadoff hitter with a low strikeout ratio who makes things happen on the field. I am always on the lookout to take the next base, anyway I can. In defense while playing third base I have the ability to defend against slappers and bunters effectively while also being able to stop a hard hit ball. At second base I cover a lot of ground and am always communicating the next play with my teammates. My love for the game doesn't end when I leave the field, I am always finding things to do to improve my game everywhere I go. I aspire to play at a competitive collegiate level while maintaining healthy grades in order to pursue my career after college.
