My name is Olivia VanDerSluis. I am 5'1 slapper/utility player who plays at Grandview Christian in Des Moines, Iowa. Besides softball, I also do track and volleyball. I started playing softball at 7 years old. Softball has been a big part in my life, and its made me into the person I am today. I have learned to be a team player, selfless, a leader, and how to be coachable. My goal is to successfully graduate high school and attend a college I love. I am looking for a college that will support me academically as well as on the field. I would also prefer to play for a school where my skills can be utilized early in my college career. I love softball because I meet great people who push me to do better. Without them I would not be where I am today.
