September 2013Personal Statement
I am a 5'3", 130-pound catcher who also plays 3B, LF, and RF. I have been playing competitive/tournament softball since the age of seven, and at the 18A level since the age of 14. I have been a varsity starter for Atchison High School's softball team my first three years of high school. I was all-KCA (Kansas City Atchison) League all three years. My club team is Lawrence Thunder 18A. Softball has been a huge part of my life for most of my life. It has strengthened my drive, focus, athleticism, and my ability to be an all-out contributor to a successful team. I cannot imagine my life without softball in it.
I would like to play college softball not too far from home while I earn a degree in accounting/finance. I would bring excellent skills, enthusiasm, and strong leadership to any team interested in me. I have an excellent work ethic both on and off the field.
