I would like to play college softball because I am very passionate about the game. I believe I am different from others because I am determined and dedicated. I like to challenge myself and I always like to learn new things. I am consistently working on becoming a better athlete, person, and leader. Some things that have shaped me as a player are: coaches who are invested in making me and my teammates better players, teammates who challenge and support me, my family who is always supporting and believing in me, and always working on my game. While playing this sport, I have learned that I need to support people who are surrounding me, always keep my head up, and move on after making mistakes. My academic goals for high school are to keep up my grades, continue to have a 4.0, and start taking college classes. For my college academic goals, I would like to graduate with a major in biology and continue my education to become a doctor. Some obstacles I have had to overcome are: coming from a small town that did not have softball, having to switch from playing baseball to softball, and learning the game at a late age.
