Nevaeh Farris '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Nevaeh Farris. I am a sophomore at Central Christian academy. I have played softball for four years now I’ve been a starter each year. I’m a catcher and centerfielder. I also play basketball, track and I’m captain of the cheer squad.Im also a student council member, member of blue coats( organization which supports/helps with activities for people with disabilities and other community endeavors), yearbook editor, on the executive board. I have received multiple achievement awards being yearbook,English 1, and star student. I have also earned multiple sports awards being most devoted in cheer, pioneer award( all around player) in basketball, and best defense in softball. I’m very firm in my faith and thankful I attend a chrisitian school. I look forward to playing at the collegiate level in softball! My college plans other than playing softball are to obtain a degree as a Physician Assistant ( PA) specializing in pediatrics. Children and veterans have my whole heart. I come from a military family  and dream of helping military families with their children in practice! I have had an amazing first track season this past year with my accomplishments being first track meet EVER. I got second in my 3200 m and third in my 1600m second meet I got second in my 3200m. At the district meet I got first in my 1600m with a time of 6:53 and first in my 3200m with a time of 15:23. In south state I placed first in my 3200m with a time of 14:35 and placed second in my 1600m with a time of 6:17. In overall state I placed second in my 3200m with a time of 14:41 and I placed second in my 1600m with a time of 6:18.I had never stepped foot on a track until March 1st 2023.  We had our First track meet March 31st where i placed Second and Third. I have atleast placed TOP 3 this track season it’s an huge achievement being we only started in March.
