My name is Elise lamartiniere. I began to play softball around 6 years old. I fell in love with the game because of my competitiveness and my desire to become better and better everyday. I am a very competitive person and never settle for anything less . I push myself and teammates in anything we do. There is always room for improvement. I hustle in anything I do and know that my attitude and work ethic is what helps me succeed. I've always had the dream of playing collegiate softball and would love to accomplish this goal at your school. I love to work with other girls to express my knowledge about the game , to help them succeed in softball . Seeing a kid accomplish something, knowing you've helped them gives you a feeling of satisfaction. Being able to teach girls not only makes them better but makes me better in the process. Softball is a team sport and requires heart from everybody on the field. Me knowing that no one person can win a game by themselves makes me want to help my teammates and encourage them to do the best of their ability. This game has changed me not only mentally and physical ,but socially as well. I think of softball in a mental aspect more than physical. You can have all the talent in the world but a bad attitude can ruin it in seconds. I hope to carry my love, compassion, drive, and work ethic in the game of softball to your college. Thank you very much for taking time to learn more about me ,elise lamartiniere.
