Casey Simpson '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Casey Simpson. I am a high school sophomore at Cheverus High School. Softball is my favorite sport and it always has been. I primarily catch on my high school varsity team. On my ASA team I change positions. I have played first base, short stop, third base, and all of the outfield. I know how to slap hit, drag bunt, and slash hit. I also can hit for power. I am a left-handed batter but a right handed thrower. My best strength on the field is probably my awareness on the base path. My short term goal is to graduate high school with a 3.8 GPA or better. My long term goal is to be successful in life and whatever profession I choose to do. My Softball goal for this year as a team is to make it to playoffs and go all the way. My goal as an individual softball player is to always be the best softball player on and off the field and to always work my hardest no matter what and let softball fulfill me with happiness and passion.
