November 2021Personal Statement
My name is Bailey Summers. I am a 2026 third baseman from Chambersburg Pennsylvania . I play for 18u Athlete’s Edge out of Greencastle, Pennsylvania. I attend Chambersburg Career Magnet School. My primary position is third base and my secondary position is second base. I can play anywhere in the infield. I have a top exit velocity of 77mph off the bat.
I want to play college softball and get a good education. I want to major in a career where I can help people, such as nursing, mental health, sports medicine, and physical therapy. My biggest goal is to become an Occupational Therapist and really learn how to help people in the world that need it most. Through doing this I feel as if it would also help me grow as a person as well.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy going on service trips and helping others in need. For example, Faith Feeding Freedom, going to soup kitchens, making lunch bags for the homeless, donating to Veterans Associations, and helping at coat drives.
