Personal Statement
My name is Amber Keene; I am a Senior this year in High School who takes my academics seriously. I will be graduating in the year of 2018 where I plan to further my education at the collegiate level. I want to pursue my education in the field of Psychology. I have been playing softball since I was the age of six years old. I currently play for a travel team which I will continue doing until the time I graduate High School, along with playing on my High School team. Last year I was a starter on our varsity team, ending with a very successful year. I was named 1st Conference along with All County Outfielder. Softball is my passion which is why I look forward to playing all the time. This is why I like travel ball so much since we are involved all year long. I am the catcher for our travel team which I love doing. I am an extremely dedicated, hard-working; leave it all on the field player. My team knows me as a positive force, a leader and a true friend with a sense of humor. My coaches say that I am a smart, tough, coach-able, team-oriented player who keeps her head in the game.
