Softball has always been a major part of my life and, ever since I was young, I knew that I wanted to play in college.
When I am on the field, I strive to be a leader, helping my teammates and encouraging them whenever I can. I love cheering my teammates on and I am always the loudest one on the bench. I take pride in being coachable and always strive to apply myself whenever I am given an instruction or piece of advice. I have always had a drive to be the best that I can be.
In the classroom, I am a very hard worker. I put a lot of time and effort into upholding a high GPA.
Outside of softball, I am also part of my high school ski team, doing multiple types of racing. As well as the ski team, I am also part of two clubs: the Best Buddies club, where we work with kids with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and the American Red Cross Club, where we raise money through fundraisers for the American Red Cross organization. For service, I have been volunteering with the American Cancer society for the past three years, and plan to be an assistant coach for young softball players in my town.
My ideal school would allow me to balance a fulfilling education with a competitive softball experience. I have been working my whole life to fulfill my dreams of playing competitive collegiate softball and have the chance to inspire, as well as motivate, the people around me.
