Gen Cook '25 Recruiting Profile

  Hi, I'm Gen! I would be a great candidate for any college team because I am strong and intelligent both on and off the field. I have a 4.03 GPA, and I achieved multiple scholarships for my private high school. I placed 6th in a state wide essay competition called the American and Me Essay Contest which was sponsored by Farm Bureau Insurance. Being raised by my single father, we developed a strong bond through our passion for the game. I have a determined work ethic and am willing to push myself to new limits to benefit my team. I've been taking hitting lessons for two years now and have an adaptable swing. I can read a ball really well in the outfield, and I have a strong throw. I've been a catcher for around nine years and caught for a variety of different speed and skill levels.
