Personal Statement
I have always strived to be the best asset to those around me, in athletics, the classroom, and the community. Both of my parents have been successful coaches; my father at High School and College; my mother at High School winning a state championship and being selected as Michigan's Coach of the Year.
My dad was a 3-year starter at Middle Linebacker for Grand Valley State University and learned the game of football from some of the best coaches around; Brian Kelly, Jeff Quin, Brian VanGorder, Todd Monken, and many more. He always brought me to games and camps so that I could be around great programs like Central Michigan, Cincinnati, and Notre Dame.
My older brother is a 6-6 285 OT for Concordia University in Ann Arbor Michigan. I've trained with him each summer and have studied the game with him whenever possible.
As a varsity football player, I have never lost a football game. We were 3-time state champions. I was named by PrepRedZone as the 24th ranked OL in Michigan; was selected to the State Championship All-State Team All Divisions and was highlighted as the 2nd best OL performance in the 2021 state finals all divisions.
I can play all 5 offensive line positions as well as the 0, 1, 2, or 3 techniques on defense. The offensive scheme that I have played in is similar to most college programs with inside and outside zone, balanced run-pass scheme, and OL skills that include speed and explosion in the outside screen game.
I intend on pursuing a career in Pre-Med focusing on Trauma Care at this time. I look forward to speaking with you if interested.
