Personal Statement
There's a lot of things I want to achieve as I get older and mature into a young adult. I didn't have a "normal childhood" as you would possibly call it. For most of my life, I lived with my grandparents, and still do as of today. My family isn't the wealthiest and that of many things is one of the reasons why I want to go to college, get my master's degree in PA school, move out of Michigan, start a family, and have a successful life. I think having someone like me apart of your team is an honor because I'm all of the above, adaptable, ambitious, encouraging, supportive, diligent, empathetic, hard-working, passionate, reliable, and so many more things, but I don't think you want to hear everything I think about myself haha! I am a different recruit because I'm proud of myself and I know who I am as a person. I don't let anyone's thoughts or opinions affect me. I've grown up with an athletic family, and I am very lucky because a lot of things come naturally for me when it comes to hand-eye coordination sports or anything active. I've been in love with sports all my life. I started softball when I was 5, and from there on I was just obsessed with it. I played other sports like soccer, basketball, track, cross country, and volleyball. I play volleyball right now on top of softball and love it! I grew up with my mamoo (grandma) helping me out with school. She was a teacher and so anytime I needed support with my school work she was always my go-to. I thank her for some of my success throughout school, my family was a big support system with pushing me with keeping up with school and getting good grades, and my amazing teachers in school. Not only did they teach me academics, but they also taught me lots of life lessons, guided me through future references that I might need, and most of all how to be myself and know that no one is perfect.
