Personal Statement
I am 5'9" and played for Tecumseh High School, primarily 1st base as well as other infield position. I was recruited by Eastern Michigan University with a scholarship and played with them for fall ball. Just before the 2nd semester I realized that EMU did not offer the classes I needed to be in line for the career path I am taking. I was granted a release before the Spring began and now actively looking for a new home. I have been playing softball my whole life and would love to continue playing in a University that has my major! I made the Varsity softball team as a freshmen in high school and started every game through-out my high school career! My Freshman year, my team went all the way to the Division II State Championship and won! My Sophomore through senior year I was nominated All-District, All-Conference, and All-Region adding All-State and playing on the Division II All-Star team my Senior year. I love the game of softball and I strive to learn as much about it as I can. There is always something new to learn or something old to perfect and it is my dream to play competitive softball at the collegiate level. I am looking for a college that has a top notch program for my major, which is pre-med of Bio-medical engineering, and that also competes in softball at a high level. I am open to any school around the country that will give me a great education. I have always been on the honor roll as well as currently in the Honors college at EMU and my education is a priority. I will continue to give my all on and off the field.
