My name is Danica McGranahan, I’m a 5’7 pitcher and third baseman. I’m very eager to continue my softball career into college. I’m a very dedicated and persistent player. Any and every chance I get to better myself in this sport I take it; whether it’s strength training, tee work, or pitching I’m always taking advantage of my free time. Even though I do enjoy bettering myself while practicing and getting reps in nothing compares to the feeling when I’m on the fields. During that time I don’t have a thought in my mind that veers away from softball. A feeling of calm and familiarity with all of the adrenaline pumping though my veins. Many have told me I don’t let anything shake me when I’m out there, just focused and easy-going. The more you get to know me I’m sure you’ll realize how goofy and out-going I am as many of my other teammates and coaches have. On the field I’m focused on the task at hand, but outside of games and practice I enjoy building bonds and friendships with my teammates. That’s when my character really comes out to shine.
